A graduate of Howard University and the Manhattan School of Music, Dashiell has collaborated with jazz legends such as Nancy Wilson, Geri Allen, and Esperanza Spalding , and has graced the stages of prestigious festivals, including the Atlanta Jazz Festival, DC Jazz Festival, and New York’s Winter Jazzfest.

Her album Time All Mine (2016) was praised for its lyrical sensitivity and refined interpretation. With the release of Journey in Black in 2023, Dashiell solidified her place as a distinctive jazz vocalist, earning her a 2025 Grammy nomination.
